POLIO VACCINATION​

nOPV2 Supplemental Immunization Activity (SIA) – Round One (R1)

Mtendere Mission Hospital, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, wishes to inform the public that the Novel Oral Polio Vaccine Type 2 (nOPV2) campaign will be conducted from 20th to 25th April 2026 within our community.

​

The target group is all children aged 0–59 months (under 5 years). Vaccination will be carried out house-to-house and at health facilities, schools, churches and market places across the district.

Day 1: Static (Mtendere Mission Hospital), Mission, Mandenga, Site and Service (Chirundu Secondary School, Teachers Compound, Hospital/Doctor’s Compound, ZRA)

Day 2: Static, Simaundu, Main Market, Site and Service.

Day 3: Static, Siabulembo, Site and Service.

Day 4: Static, Apollo, Mazongololo, Medium Cost

Day 5: Mazongololo, Medium Cost
